Memories Of You

In my lonely mind there dwells
Memories of empty sea shells
Found on a deserted ocean beach,
The roaring sea sounding in each.
I remember you holding one to your ear
And my telling you to have no fear
That long ago misty summer morning,
Not knowing that I’d be mourning
Your early departure for Heaven
That ill-fated September eleven.

It’s been more than five years now
And I never got to tell you how
I loved you that September day,
Never got to tell you and say
Would you become my wife
And make complete my sad life.
Now you’re in Heaven near God’s hand
As I walk the deserted seashore sand,
Hoping to see your so lovely ghost
Since my heart lost what it loved most.

Yes, it’s been more than five years
And I can’t think of you without tears
Cascading down my barren face,
Recalling your so charming grace
As you happily ran across the sand
And I kissed you in that surf so grand.
Five years have come and gone,
But somehow I live and linger on
With memories of you and empty sea shells,
As in my sad heart your soul forever dwells.

Tarzan Says Adieu

I was really a fool for believing in you
When you said my dreams will come true.
I gave you my heart which you tore apart,
Turned my happy dreams to nightmares
Instead of soothing all my cares.

Now you come back, again wanting me
To be with you for more of your misery.
You pull a string, have me do your thing.
Well, listen baby, I’m not your toy,
Your only private plaything to enjoy!

No, shady lady, I’m not your guy,
All you get from me is just one goodbye.
How does it feel to know I won’t kneel
And take you back again to be with me?
Hit the road, Jane, get out of my tree!
